S9 FE weights 520grams and Pad 6 weighs 490grams and Pad 6 has 6.51mm thin.

Connectivity and Storage

Samsung S9 FE comes in two models i.e., 5G and Wi-Fi but Xiaomi Pad 6 is available only in Wi-Fi and both are available in 6 GB and 8 GB RAM variants with 128 GB and 256 GB storage variants. But S9 FE supports dedicated expandable SD card up-to 1 TB, whereas Xiaomi Pad 6 doesn’t have expandable memory.

Sound and Camera

Samsung S9 FE comes with dual Dolby Atmos Speakers whereas Xiaomi Pad 6 comes with Quad Speakers which gives immersive experience with calls and entertainment. S9 FE has 8 mega pixels rear camera comparing to Xiaomi Pad 6 has 13 mega pixels rear camera and 12 mega pixel front camera comparing to 8 mega pixels in Pad 6. Samsung given priority to front camera whereas Xiaomi given priority to rear camera. But both the tablets have camera at the centre in horizontal position.

Battery and Performance

Both the tablets offer almost similar battery capacity with Samsung S9 FE with 8000 mAh and Xiaomi Pad 6 offers slightly bigger battery with 8840 mAh battery. S9 FE equipped with Exynos 1380 processor and Pad 6 equipped with Snapdragon 870 processor. Performance wise both does decent job when it comes to daily usage, multi-tasking and gaming. You might feel heating issues with Exynos processor compared to Xiaomi Pad 6.

Pen Experience

One of the major difference these two tablets is Samsung ships S Pen FREE with S9 FE Box whereas Xiaomi Pad 6 doesn’t ship the Pen with the box, you need to buy separately but hang on to your thoughts till pricing. Samsung Pen feel rubber on screen, Xiaomi pen feels plastic, and you get extra pair of Tips to exchange later. SPen doesn’t need any charging as it’s not a Bluetooth technology whereas Xiaomi pen works with Bluetooth technology, and it does require charging which is charged when you mount the pen on the top of the tablet.

Xiaomi Pen Styles has two very useful buttons instead of Samsung one single button which is only used for Delete something. Xiaomi Pen buttons can be used to scroll up and down the page screen, if you are on notes app you can navigate between Pen types, colour types without need of touching the tool bar. Long press you can take screenshot, and many such functionalities can be achieved.

S9 FE is available at a discount around Rs. 32,999 including Pen in the box whereas Xiaomi Pad 6 is available around Rs. 24,999 + Xiaomi Pen costs around Rs. 5,000/-. So, it doesn’t matter if S Pen is free with Samsung or not. In face Xiaomi has an option if you are not interested to use Pen you can skip the tablet cost is much lesser than Samsung.
