Redmi launched its new phone in Budget Under Rs. 10,000 A Series Redmi A4 5G Today i.e., 20th Nov, 2024. I always wonder how come Redmi accommodate great features at the budget under Rs. 10,000/-. As Redmi A3 is available at Rs. 8,999/- which was launched at Rs. 11,999/- but surprisingly Redmi A4 5G phone launched at Rs. 8,499/- claiming the cheapest 5G phone available under Rs. 10,0000.

Redmi A4 5G Specifications
First of all, Redmi A4 is being launched in India, for India, and manufactured in India with the tag “India Karega 5G”. It seems it’s to be launched in two colors. Starry Black and Sparkle Purple. Back panel looks plastic with glossy finish. Camera module has 4-part form factor, flash light, two rear camera and a dummy circle just to give the 4-part design. Rear camera has 50 MP with circle design at the top center on the back with shiny cross design. Redmi claims it as a Premium Glass Sandwich design, the reality we just need to wait and see.
You can expect a 3.5 mm jack at the top which we are missing in lot of other phones. Also, there are no signs of IR (Infrared Blaster) so, can’t operate TV or AC with the phone.
It’s a flat design instead a curved design, on the right side the volume rockers and the power look sleek with the finger print sensor on the power button. Seems we can’t expect the in-display finger print for authentication.
Redmi A4 is launched with Snapdragon 4S Gen 2 processor. Snapdragon chips are always better in the market now they are known for their multi task capabilities, managing heat especially while playing games and when a greater number of open apps in the background. The shocking fact is that Redmi A4 comes in Flagship 4nm processor instead of 6nm processor. Huge expectation with performance when comparing to other peers like Realme and Oppo.
It has 6.88-inch large display (instead of 6.71-inch for Redmi A3), with a camera punch hole at the center with 120Hz smooth display instead of 90Hz display with its predecessor Redmi A3. With 600 nits of brightness with Eye Protection Display and having HD+ display. There is a higher bezel at the bottom from the rest of the three sides which is to be expected because similar bezel screen plays very big role in the cost, this budget may not accommodate.
If you are the one who has to or spend lot of time with the mobile then this Redmi A4 5G is for you. It comes with a whooping 5160 mAh battery instead of 5000 mAh battery for Redmi A3 which can expect all day long battery life accompanied with a flash charging. May it be binge watching movies or YouTube, or Playing Games. A4 supports up-to 18W fast charging but 33W charger included in the box
RAM and Storage
Redmi A4 launched with only one RAM variant i.e., 4GB which can expand up to 8 GB Virtual RAM. And it is available in two storage variants such as 64 GB and 128 GB with dedicated SD Slot that is expandable up-to 1TB of external storage. You can have two NANO-SIMS + 1 SD Slot.
Front glass will be Corning Gorilla Glass 4. But this time Remin A4 doesn’t seem to have leather finish back.
Second rear camera would be 8 MP AI Camera and on the front 5MP selfie camera. Also, expecting to have Type-C cable port.
