As a Tech Reviewer I prefer wired earphones always better than Bluetooth earbuds in day-to-day life. I have reviewed CMF Nothing Band which cost Rs. 1,999, I reviewed CMF Buds which costs Rs. 2,199, also I reviewed Sony WF-C500 earbuds which cost Rs. 4,500 and even expensive I have tried Nothing Ear stick which cost Rs. 7,000. But one thing is the common in all these earbuds, they all are Bluetooth earbuds. But I prefer and I love the most is wired earphones currently I am using wired earphones from Ambrane for my day to life. A wired earphones which makes my life easier and happier.
Top 3 reasons why I love wired earphones than Bluetooth ones.
1. No battery outage Tension with wired earphones
Literally no power needed to these wired earphones. The problem with the Bluetooth earbuds, you not only need to keep charging of the case, also make sure that your ear buds also charged. If your case charged and your earbuds are not charged then there is no use.
2. No fear of losing
These Bluetooth earbuds are tiny and they don’t fit in the ear completely. Hence you always have fear of falling from the ears. And also they both are separated and there is no wire attached, you always end up losing them somewhere or the other and again you need to open Mobile app the find the buds.
3. No Latency
I agree that the modern earbuds have very less latency even in the budget earbuds. But can it be lower than a wired one? When it comes to wired there is no question of latency it’s always in sync. That’s exactly why we always prefer to use cable than Wi-Fi when it comes to data transfer or using internet cable over Wi-Fi.
Cost: Last but not least, the good budgeted earbuds generally start anything around Rs. 1,500 but you get good branded wired once at the costs just around Rs. 250 like Ambrane one.
I agree there are some features which you get with ear buds like ANC (Active Noise Cancellation). My question is what is point of purchasing a good ANC ear buds at high cost, then again changing the mode the Transparency. Which is exactly these wired earbuds offer.
Let’s look at the another features touch buttons. You have touch buttons to adjust volume, to navigate back and forth. Long press to change mode. No w let’s ask yourself how many times you have used these touch buttons. When you want to adjust the volume you end up changing in the phone not touch buttons. These wired ones also offer buttons to adjust volume and to navigate back and forth, which is more accurate than the touch buttons.
I am not saying earbuds are bad, there are features like dual connectivity which you get only with bluetooth earbuds with which you can connect to moe than one device such as mobile and laptop and you can easily switch between devices so easily in no time. Also, like for example like while jogging or in gym these Bluetooth earbuds are really really useful these wired may create problems while jogging and gym.
Think about a situation where-in you need to get into the call qucikly on a Monday morning and suddently you realised you drained all earbuds battery by watching Netflix on Sunday night.
The primary reason these mobile manufactures removed 3.5mm jack is they can sold these Bluetooth earbuds at a higher cost, but these 3.5mm which works great for a wired earphones. Now-a-days you don’t see much phones offering this 3.5mm audio jack. But the wired earphones which I currently use from Ambrane doesn’t need 3.5mm audio jack rather it has USB Type-C which works seemless across anydevice iPhone or Android which has Type-C port.
But if you still love to have phone that has 3.5mm audio jack check this Redmi A4 5G
